Shortcuts

  1. Capture the screen under the mouse
  2. Select an area on a frozen screen
  3. Click a window to capture it

You can change them in the settings.

Then

  1. drawArrows, boxes, circles, lines, pen, highlighter, text, numbered steps and blur.
  2. shareCopy or save at full resolution, or skip the editor and copy or save right away.
  3. staysIn the menu bar or system tray, out of your way. It updates itself.

First launch

The app isn't signed by Apple or Microsoft yet, so your computer asks once whether you trust it.

macOS

  1. Open the downloaded file and drag Even vastleggen to Applications.
  2. Open it. macOS says it can't check the developer: click Done.
  3. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.
  4. Allow Screen Recording when asked, then open the app again.

Windows

  1. Open the downloaded installer.
  2. If Windows protected your PC: click More info, then Run anyway.
